What is telemedicine?

Telemedicine is a one-on-one visit completed through a secure internet connection. You will be able to video chat with one of our providers in real time to discuss your health concerns. In most cases our providers will be able to make recommendations, review lab results, prescribe medications, and schedule follow-up care.

We are offering Telemedicine Visits for patients with smartphones or desktop/laptop with a webcam. For patients with an Iphone or IPad we can use Facetime for instant communication. For those with Android phones we can call you using Doximity (you will get a text that sets it up). For those with only Windows computer or laptop there is a downloadable app that we will help you install. And if you do not have access to any of those or feel more comfortable talking on the telephone we can do that as well.

Why use telemedicine?

Telemedicine visits are a convenient way to provide medical care for those who cannot make it into the office. Whether you are at home, work, traveling, or just feel too ill to come into our office - all you will need is a private space and internet access.

Does my insurance cover telemedicine?

At this time due to COVID-19, all insurances are covering telemedicine visits. If you have a co-pay it will be due when visit is scheduled. Our office is happy to assist with any questions or concerns regarding your coverage. Please feel free to give us a call.
